Create a Campaign
This guide walks you through creating a new campaign in OffZio from basic details to payouts, tracking, publisher access, and targeting.
Step 1 — Create New Campaign (Basic Details)
Go to the Create New Campaign page and fill in the following fields.
Campaign Name
Enter a clear campaign name, for example:
CreditScore PPS web+mob
Use a naming style your team can recognize later (offer name + payout type + traffic type).
Advertiser
From the Advertiser dropdown, select the advertiser you want to assign this offer to.
Status
Select the status that fits this campaign, such as:
- Active
- Pending
- Other available statuses in your account
Publish As
From the Publish as dropdown, choose:
- New Campaign — for single offers (recommended for most cases)
- Only Smartlink — if you are creating a smartlink campaign
Tracking URL
This is one of the most important fields.
- Paste the tracking URL from your advertiser.
- Replace advertiser macros with OffZio macros.
- Click Macros Available to see the full list of supported macros.
You can also find the full macro list here: Macros Documentation
Preview URL
Add a preview URL for this campaign. This can be:
- A live preview / landing page link, or
- A preview screenshot link
Use whichever your team prefers for publisher review.
Categories & Tags
Select the relevant Categories from the dropdown.
Use Tags to label the offer type, for example:
SOIDOIPPS
If a tag does not exist yet, create it first, then select it here.
Allowed & Denied Traffic Types
- Allowed Traffic Types — traffic publishers are allowed to send to this campaign
- Denied Traffic Types — traffic that is not allowed for this campaign
This helps publishers understand the rules before they promote the offer.
Description & Internal Note
- Description — public campaign details publishers/team may need
- Internal Note — private notes visible only to the network owner and team
Visibility
If you enable:
- Top Campaign — the offer appears under Top Campaigns in the publisher dashboard
- Feature Campaign — the offer appears under Featured Campaigns in the publisher dashboard
When finished, click Save & Continue to go to Payouts & Goals.
Step 2 — Payouts & Goals
This step controls how you earn from the advertiser and how you pay publishers.
Goal Title
Enter a goal title, such as Default.
Goal Type
Select one of the available goal types:
- CPA
- CPL
- CPS
- CPI
- RevShare
Fixed payout from advertiser
If the advertiser pays a fixed amount and you also want to pay publishers a fixed amount:
- Select CPA or CPL (or another fixed goal type that fits).
- Enter Revenue — the amount you receive from the advertiser.
- Enter Payout — the amount you want to pay the publisher.
Dynamic / percentage payout (RevShare)
If the advertiser sends a dynamic amount:
- Select goal type RevShare.
- Set Revenue Type to
100%. - Set Payout Type to the publisher share, for example
80%.
In that example, 20% remains your profit.
Custom Variations
Use Custom Variations for advanced payout rules, including payouts based on:
- Country
- Device
Conversion Caps
You can set caps based on:
- Conversions
- Approved conversions
- Payouts
- Approved payouts
Available periods:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Total
Advanced Options (Goals)
Click the unfold icon to open Advanced Options:
- Goal Unique Name / Alias — optional unique name/alias for the goal
- Initial Status — set whether new conversions start as Approved, Pending, etc.
- Multiple Conversions — if enabled, one click ID can generate multiple conversions
- Trigger Publisher Postback — enabled by default; disable if you do not want conversion data sent to publisher postbacks
- Hide Goal from Publishers — if enabled, this goal is hidden from publishers and will not appear in their campaign details
Click Save & Continue to go to the Tracking step.
Step 3 — Tracking
Tracking Domain
Select the tracking domain you want to use for this campaign.
You can add multiple tracking domains from here: Tracking Domains Documentation
Tracking Method
Select S2S (server-to-server).
Advertiser Postback URLs
If you do not need a separate advertiser postback setup, leave Advertiser Postback URLs unchanged.
Advanced Options (Tracking)
Open Advanced Options to configure:
Click Session Lifespan
Default is 7 (days). Use this to control how long a click remains valid for conversion attribution.
Redirect Mode
- Single META Redirect (Hide Referrer) — META redirects help prevent referrer data from being sent to the offer. Standard 302 is fastest.
- Standard 302 Redirect — fastest redirect method. META redirects prevent referrer data from being sent to the offer.
- Double META Redirect — additional META redirect layer. Standard 302 is fastest. META redirects prevent referrer data from being sent to the offer.
Don't Allow Duplicate Clicks
If enabled, the system helps prevent duplicate click/conversion issues.
Invalid Traffic Forwarding (Fallback)
Choose where invalid / fallback traffic should go:
- Global Trafficback URL — send fallback traffic to the global fallback URL
- Default Landing Page — send fallback traffic to the same campaign’s default landing page
- Preview URL — send fallback traffic to the campaign preview URL
- Custom Trafficback URL — enter a custom fallback link
- Fallback Campaign — select an existing campaign ID in your system to use as fallback
Click Save & Continue to go to Publisher Access.
Step 4 — Publisher Access
Availability Type
- Public — open for everyone; publishers can promote it
- Private — not visible by default; only the network owner can assign it to specific publishers
Publishers Control
Use this section to deny specific publishers from the campaign if needed.
Click Save & Continue to go to Targeting.
Step 5 — Targeting
Set targeting rules for the campaign, including:
- Allowed / Denied Countries
- Devices
- Device OS
- Browsers
- Languages
When everything looks correct, click Complete & Publish.
Your campaign is now ready to go live.
